She was born in Oct. 1938, the daughter of J. Craig McLanahan and Linda (Walke) McLanahan. She grew up in residential suburbs of Baltimore, MD, and attended schools there, as well as college at the Marjorie Webster Junior College, Washington, DC, graduating with an Associates Degree in 1958. In the early 1970's, she met and married Ralph Bauer of Bel Air, MD, and about that time started a career as a medical secretary, which continued until after the couple moved to Dunedin in the 1980's. She was widowed in the 1990's and subsequently married Ray Denney, a retired Ohio civil servant. They lived together, traveling extensively for a nu-mber of years until she was widowed a second time. In the early 2000's, she met and married Richard Russell of Moline, IL, who moved to Florida to continue representing his firm there. Meanwhile, Linda had changed careers to become a teacher of early childhood students in various sch-ools in the Dunedin-Clearwater area, before retiring in 2006. She is survived by her brother, J.
