CAMPBELL, Kevin John - Peacefully at home after a year long battle with cancer, at the age of 52, on Thursday, January 22, 2009. Beloved husband and dear friend to Barbara. Predeceased by his first wife Wende in 2001, his father Jock, his step-father Fred, his mother Margaret, and his good friend Gene Colbrooke. Survived by his brother Malcolm Ross Campbell, wife Pat and niece Caitlin, and stepson Timothy Blair. Founding chair of the Oshawa Downtown Board of Management and Downtown Action Committee, Past Member of the Board of Directors of Lakeview Health Corporation, and member of the Friends of Second Marsh Steering Committee. Founding member of Protect The Ridges and Treasurer of the Oshawa Santa Clause Parade for the past six years. Kevin built a thriving business specializing in taxation and was a valued advisor to his clients for the past 26 years. He was also a political operative in many elections for over the last 30 years. His contributions will be sadly missed.
