McKENZIE, Kathleen Mabel (Babs) Born September 17, 1913 Bon Accord - passed to God's tender care June 2, 2008. Predeceased by her loving husband Oscar Francis McKenzie, son Everitt, grandson Darren, great-grandson Dean, two sisters and four brothers. Survived by sons Ronald (Donna), Lyle (Gloria) and John (Gail); daughter Marilyn (Larry); brother Glen (Ellen); 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Kathleen (Babs) will be greatly missed by everyone whom she knew and loved. A heartfelt and special thank you go out to the Jasper Place Continuing Care Centre staff for their excellent care of our beloved Mother and dear friend. A Funeral Service will be held at Evergreen Funeral Chapel (16204 Fort Road) on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Steve Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family would be most appreciative of donations to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, as Babs loved all children.
