John William Gayton, age 51, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Talmadge Gayton; and his brother, Talmadge Eugene Gayton.He is survived by his wife, Vickie Chester; mother, Martha Sams; children, Joseph Gayton, Jessica Gayton, Penny Nichols, Vanus Nichols; two grandchildren; sisters, Linda Tanner and Carolyn Shirley of Jasper; sister-in-law, Lynn Gayton of Gainesville; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends also survive.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 11, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rickey Fields officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
