Jewel Bradford Johnson, 88, of Russellville died Saturday, July 19, 2003, at National Health Care, of natural causes.She was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Johnson, daughter, Martha Johnson, father, James William Bradford, and mother, Rosie Bradford.She is survived by her sons, Dempsey Johnson, Muscle Shoals, Don Johnson, Tuscumbia; daughter, Sara Copeland, Arab; brother, James W. "Doc" Bradford, Moulton; sister, Allyne Fretwell, Mount Hope; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will include Gary Johnson, Joey Johnson, Derrick Copeland, Jeff Bagwell, Jason Bendall and Eric Michael.Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Old Bethel Cemetery, Leighton.Officiating will be the Rev. Roger Houston.
