James Douglas Williams, age 66, of Muscle Shoals, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008. His family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home, of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel, with Roland Hargrove and William Bonee officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.Mr. Williams was a native of Colbert County and a member of the Baptist church.He is survived by his daughter, Candace Miller; brother, Howard Williams; sister, Betty Sledge; and one grandchild, Ayden Miller.Pallbearers are Brad Williams, Steve Sitton, Tim Sledge, Troy Tanksley, Bill Woodall and Pumkin Tanksley.Morrison Funeral Home, of Tuscumbia, is directing.
