Decatur<!--Decatur-->Graveside service for Hazel Ruby (Todd) Hill, 87, formerly of Athens will be Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at 4 p.m. at Athens City Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home directing and Joe Teal officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Hill, who died Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at River City Care of Decatur, was born Oct. 1, 1921, in Limestone County. She was a retired waitress and a member of First Baptist Church. Her husband, D.V. Hill, and brother-in-law Arvin Jackson preceded her in death.Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Ann Cramer, and husband James of Decatur; two brothers, Hezzie W. Todd and wife Ruth of Granite City, Ill., and Marvin L. Todd and wife Peggy of Athens; one sister, Oma Jackson of Athens; three grandchildren, David R. Keenum and wife Pam of Decatur, Glenn A. Keenum of Decatur and Laura Bryant of Decatur; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Keenum, Glenn Keenum, David Allen Keenum, Ty Keenum, Paul L. Wilson and Lena Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Chandler Bryant and Michael Paul Jackson.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley or First Baptist Church, Athens.
