Gregory Richard 1948 - 2009 LAS VEGAS, NEV Gregory John Richard, 60, of Las Vegas, Nev., died peacefully on July 11, surrounded by his family and friends. He was the son of Marcelle Mottin of Bradford, N.N., and the late Walter Richard. He was born in Washington, DC, Dec. 20, 1948, and spent most of his childhood with his family living abroad, in Southeast Asia and Tunisia, North Africa. He was a 1967 graduate of Notre Dame International School, in Rome, Italy, and later attended universities in Washington, D.C. and Paris, France. A longtime resident of Boston and New Hampshire, Gregory lived the last 19 years in Las Vegas, where he worked at Sonny's Saloon. Besides his mother, he leaves his daughter, Gina Richard, of Brattleboro, Vt.; son Nicholas Richard, of Henderson, Nev.; sister, Maryse Conway, and her husband, Joseph Conway, of Bradford, N.H.; two nieces, Aryn Conway, of Brookline, Mass., and Megan Conway, of Bradford, N.H., former wife and friend, Nancy Richard, of Peterborough, N.H. and several aunts, uncles and cousins, in both France and New Hampshire. MEMORIAL NOTICE: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to any charity of choice. A memorial visitation will be held on monday, July 13, 2009 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146.
