VAN HORN, Everett E., 83, of Tampa, passed away January 6, 2006. Born in St. Louis, Mo., he moved to the area 60 years ago from his native home town. A member of American Legion Post 138, Port Tampa, member of the Hell's Angels "Might in Flight" 303rd Bombardment Group (H), Mr. Van Horn was a radio operator flying 34 missions in a B-17 Bomber during World War II. Predeceased by his wife, Eleanor, he is survived by his brother, William H. (Helen) Van Horn Jr.; sister, Lucille (Walter) Rosemann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
