Elsie Armstrong SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Elsie Armstrong of Sackville, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, April 12, 2005. Born in England, she was a daughter of Albert V.M. and Ellen (Bainbridge) Armstrong of West Hartlepool Co.,Cleveland. After Matriculating from the high school there, she came at an early age to live with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Weeks, at Sackville, NB. Upon graduation from the Mount Allison Commercial College she was employed by Eastern Hay and Feed Co. Ltd, while still in her teens she gained a position with the Production and Marketing Branch of Canada Agriculture. In addition to returning frequently to visit family members in England she traveled extensively abroad. She was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family, survived only by nieces and nephews in England. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Sackville on Friday, April 15, 2005 at 2 pm, Rev. Kevin Stockall officiating. Burial in the Sackville Cemetery.
