Eddie Sue graduated from East End High School in Seneca, SC in 1954. She is a graduate of Tuskegee University and Eastern Michigan University where she majored in education. Her first teaching position was on an Indian Reservation in the state of Wyoming. She retired as an educator of the Detroit Public School System and took residence in Charlotte, NC.She was the daughter of the late Isaiah and Estella McGee of Clemson, SC. She is survived by five sisters, Hermine Logan of Columbia, SC, Leatrice (John) Rozier of Cleveland, OH, Lura M. Parker of Cleveland, OH, Eleanor Webb of Mauldin, SC and Corrie (Thomas) Colter of Rock Hill, SC. She is also survived by two brothers, Robert A. (Lillie Ruth) McGee of Anderson, SC and Alvin McGee of Charlotte, NC. Eddie Sue leaves behind three generations of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 8, 2011 at Robinson Funeral Home, 534 Hampton Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730.-Courtesy of Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary
