Mrs. Dorothy Pearl Lee August 27, 1931 - November 21, 2008 - Dorothy Pearl Lee The death of Mrs. Dorothy Pearl (Whitehouse) Lee of Grand Bay-Westfield, wife of the late W. Richard Lee occurred on November 21, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in East Knowlesville, Carleton County on August 27, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Osbert and Ella (Cooke) Whitehouse. Mrs. Lee was a resident of the Saint John area since 1944. She is survived by four sons; Glendon Lee of Grand Bay – Westfield, Hilton (Gail) Lee of Lorneville, Gordon (Deborah) of Nerepis, and Bruce Lee of Lepreau, one sister; Wilma Orser of Hartland, N.B., nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a sister Stella Goodwin, and brothers Ernest Whitehouse, Vernon Whitehouse, Lorne Whitehouse, Austin Whitehouse, and Arlie Whitehouse. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home (634-1701), 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West. Visiting at Fallsview will be on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from Fallsview Chapel on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 1 p.m. Interment in Lorneville Cemetery.
