AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. David Curtis Williams, a native of Warren County, North Carolina, entered into rest Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home. He was 95 years of age. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 22, 2013, at 12:00 noon from First Metropolitan Baptist Church, 3719 Belair Road, Augusta, GA. The remains will lie in state at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Burial will be Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Lovely Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Macon, North Carolina. Survivors are his two sisters, Mrs. Nancy B. Hodges of Augusta, GA and Ms. Hattie B. Williams of New York; sons, Mr. David A. McWilliams (Mary) of Mitchellville, MD and Mr. Nathaniel Jones of Warren County, NC; nieces, Dr. Lucinda R. Sullivan (Samuel) of Augusta, GA and Ms. Susie M. Williams of New York; nephews, Mr. Cosby L. Reavis (Odessa) of New York and Mr. Clement Collymore Bey (Diann) of Macon, NC; and grandchildren, Ms. Davida McWilliams and Mr. David A. McWilliams, Jr. of Mitchellville, MD. W. H.
