She was a devoted member of Flat Rock Baptist Church and Treasurer of the Ministers' Wives Association. She was also a lifelong member of the NAACP. She is survived by her son: Bernard (Elaine) Warren of Silver Springs, MD; her daughter: Esther Ruth Williams of Landover, MD; one sister: Alleen Tyler; one sister-in-law: Joyce Young, both of Piedmont; and five grandchildren. Services will be Friday, May 11, 2012 at Flat Rock Baptist Church at 3:00pm with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at 2:00pm, prior to the service. A service of S.C.
