Obituary of Anne Nagle


SOUTHINGTON - Anne Cushing Nagle, 94, of Woodruff St., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, at the Southington Care Center. She was the wife of the late James F. Nagle. Anne was born on Nov. 25, 1912, and was the daughter of the late Dr. William H. and Gertrude (Kranich) Cushing. She was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church a volunteer at The Hospital of Central CT Bradley Campus and a member of The Southington Council of Catholic Women. She was an avid bowler and loved square dancing. Anne is survived by her son, Jim Nagle and his wife, Sandy of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Cynthia Sheriff and her husband, Wayne of California; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Cushing of Plantsville. She was predeceased by five brothers; and four sisters. The funeral will be held on Thursday, Nov. 29th, at 9:45 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., Southington for a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Central CT, 205 W. Main St., New Britain, Ct.06052.
