WHITAKER Anna Care Bobrich Anna Bobrich Whitaker, of Hillside Avenue, Milford, entered into eternal rest on March 21, 2003. Mrs. Whitaker was born in New Haven October 8, 1930, daughter of the late William & Clara Care. She was the wife of Richard C. Whitaker. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of, Gale and Larry Smith of Cushing, Maine, Deborah and Dana Vars of North Haven, Nancy and Scott Smith, Linda and Wayne Hickman, all of West Haven, William Bobrich Sr. and John Bobrich, both of Milford. Also survived by 12 grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren; her brother, Richard Care of Branford; her sister, Shirley Steeves of Shelton, 12 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Arthur R. Bobrich; a brother, John Care; a sister, Gladys Robinson Ellum. She was employed by Milford Hospital for 24 years, and volunteered her services to the hospital for many years. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. The hours for visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm.
