June 24, 2003 Agnes Ruth Dowd, 79, formerly of Skyview Terr., Fairmount died Tuesday in Maryland. She was born in Watertown, NY and lived in Fairmount from 1969 until moving to Maryland in 1995. Mrs. Dowd was a former communicant of Holy Family Church, and also was an avid bowler. She was the widow of Richard Dowd who died in 1997. Her son Gary Michael Dowd died in 1982. Survived by her son, David A. Dowd of St. Michaels, MD.; two grandchildren, Griffin Eileen and Dylan M. Glatt-Dowd; three sisters, Grace Dreier of Allegany, NY, Mary Dowd of Hamburg, NY, and Kathryn Couch of Ralston, Neb. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Whelan Bros. Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Whelan Bros. Funeral Home, 3700 W.
