Retired Electrical Technician MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. Willie Allen Freeman, 67, entered into rest March 26, 2007 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 12 noon at the Oakey Grove Baptist Church, Evans, Ga. with the Reverend Rex E. Wright officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. He was a native of Columbia County and had retired from Bank of America (formerly C & S National Bank/Nations Bank) as an Electrical Technician. He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Mamie D. Freeman; a loving mother, Ailean T. Freeman of Martinez, Ga.; three daughters, Veronica (Edward) Bennett of Martinez, Ga., Felicia (Thomas) Middleton of Augusta, Ga., and Latonya Freeman of Martinez, Ga.; two sons, Roman Turner of Alabama and Ronald Turner of Augusta, Ga.; three sisters, Rosaland F. Johnson of Hephzibah, Ga., Gracey (Robert) Leverett of Augusta, Ga., and Marcella (Solomon) Glover of Evans, Ga.; five brothers, Bennie (Almeta) Freeman of Martinez, Ga., Leodies (Ethel) Freeman, Martinez, Ga., Raymond (Mary) Freeman of Martinez, Ga., Daniel Freeman of Prattville, Ala., and Floyd (Regina) Freeman of Hephzibah, Ga. Additional survivors include nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in- law, nieces, nephews, and close friends. The family will be receiving friends at the residence, 3790 Freeman Drive, Martinez, Ga. Visitation will be today from 3 to 7 p.m. at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home.
