Hartselle<!--Hartselle-->Funeral for Warren E. &#8220;W.E.&#8221; Davis, 87, of Hartselle will be Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A. Ray Lee officiating. Burial will be in Shoal Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mr. Davis, who died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at Summerford Nursing Home, was born June 13, 1921, in Blount County to Robert E. Lee Davis and Clara Louise Lively. He was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Burgreen Construction Co.Survivors include his son, David W. Davis of Hartselle; daughter, Margaret Posey of Chattanooga, Tenn.; brother, Thomas H. Davis of Decatur; two sisters, Vergie Dorothy Hopper and Ola Mae Segars, both of Decatur; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be David W. Davis Jr., James Posey, David Posey, Mark Curtis, Tommy Davis and Michael Liles.
