MacLEOD, Vora Irene (née: Dodd) November 18, 1921 - September 30, 2015 A ''hardy prairie rose'' transplanted to the lovely ''Sidney by the Sea'' ....passed away peacefully in her ninety-third year....She is survived by her children Fred, Deborah (Ed), Harold (Ruth), Susan (Chris), six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sisters Deena and Wilda, numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Irene, father Russell, husbands Frederick Sowerby and John MacLeod. Vora was a strong, independent woman who will be mourned. She was interred Saturday, October 3rd, 2015, in a private service at Royal Oak Burial Park, Victoria, BC, Pastor Harold Sowerby officiating.
