ANDERSON, Violet (Vi) (nee Creighton) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Violet (Vi) on August 30, 2010 at the age of 90. Vi was pre-deceased by her husband John (Hoss) Anderson in 2004. Vi is survived by her sister Edna Davis (nee Creighton) who is the last survivor of the Creighton clan and is also survived by her children Brian (Dawne) Anderson, Neil Anderson, Lynn Anderson and Colin (Roni) Anderson, her 9 grand children and 7 great grandchildren. John and Vi were married for 57 wonderful years. They relocated the family to Sidney, BC from Nova Scotia in 1963. They both shared many years RV-ing and were involved with the Canadian Naval Air Group (CNAG), the Legion in Sidney and the Sidney branch of the ANAF and were always a force and strong supporters of the ANAF meat draws. Vi was a cancer survivor. Vi and John are reunited again. The family would like to thank the care and attention given to Vi by the nurses and staff at the Saanich Peninsula Extended Care Unit. A celebration of life service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Home, 4725 Falaise Drive, Saanich, BC V8Y 1B4 at 2:00 PM on Sept 11, 2010.
