Vera Jo Morris, born Aug. 7, 1926, went to be with Jesus Nov. 8, 2012. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. Vernon Morris; and son, Danny Morris.She is survived by her son, Sammy (Shelia) Morris; daughters, Phala (David) Anderson and Donna Morris. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.Honorary pallbearers will be all nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.After the service, the family will receive friends at Young's Chapel Church on the Piedmont Highway.www.glencoehokesbluff.com
