->WASHBURN - Timothy F. Humphrey, 71, passed away April 14, 2013, in Orlando, Fla. He was born Dec. 29, 1941, in Presque Isle, son of Fred and Bertha (Barker) Humphrey. He graduated from Washburn High School, class of 1959. He graduated from Aroostook State Teachers College, Presque Isle. Tim taught English at Washburn High School for more than 30 years. He was a member of Maine Education Association, served as treasurer, secretary and then president, 1994-1998. He was also a member of National Education Association. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jane (Kingsbury) Humphrey of Washburn; two sisters, Jolita Churchill of Winder, Ga., and Nanalee Buckingham of Washburn; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Jeannie Conto and husband, Brian, of Chateaugay, N.Y. Friends may call 10 a.m. until time of memorial service 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Dot Mattson and Pastor Sue Brown officiating.
