Thomas Odell Todd, 86, Spruce Pine, Ala., passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Russellville Hospital.Mr. Todd lived his entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Spruce Pine Baptist Church. He served in the Navy during World War II and received the Euro-Afri-Mid East Medal with one star. He was retired from Alabama Stone with 50 years of service.Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Jerome Sherrill officiating. Burial will be in Spruce Pine Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.Survivors include sons, Thomas Todd and wife, Debbie, Russellville, Tim Todd and wife, Barbara, Spruce Pine; and grandchildren, Lee Todd, William Todd, Megan Todd, Ashley Todd, Courtney Todd and Hunter Todd.
