LINDLEY THOMAS J. II, 88, died Monday, March 12, 2007 at Clark Memorial Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Jeffersonville, who spent many of his summers in Jackson Hole, WY. Besides being an accomplished artist, he worked for advertising agencies in Louisville and Chicago during his professional career. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanlie Cox Lindley and Frank Irvin Lindley. He is survived by Ruth Wilhelm Lindley, his wife of 66 years; a daughter, Frances Lindley Arnold and her husband, Owen, of Elizabethtown, KY; and two sons, Thomas J. Lindley III and his wife, Janet, of Jeffersonville, and John S. (Jack) Lindley and his wife, Laura, of Jeffersonville. Grandchildren include: John Lindley Arnold, Nashville, TN, Owen Glen Arnold Jr., Nashville, TN, Robert Marsh Lindley, Clemson, SC, Abby Jane Lindley, West Lafayette, IN, Kathryn Elisabeth Lindley, Jeffersonville, and William Russell Lindley, Jeffersonville. The Rev. John Tederstrom will officiate services at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Jeffersonville, at 10 a.m. on Friday. He will be buried in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Coots Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to St. Paul's Episcopal Church or Jeff-Clark Preservation, Inc.
