HENDERSON THOMAS CHARLESNovember 23, 1919 to Sept 9, 2007It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of our beloved dad, husband and ÃBankyÄ while vacationing in Britain. He is survived by his loving wife Jeannine, his devoted daughters Pat Doucet (Wayne) of Langley, BC, their son and grandson Jodey and Donovan, and Angela Haff (Todd) of North Vancouver and their children Michael, Samantha, and Matthew. He was predeceased by his beloved first wife Mary Jackson in 1990. Also survived by Jeanine's children Jennifer Goulding (Tim) Lara, Georgia, John Paul, Mary, Bernadette, Celine, and Justin Campbell (Carole Anne) Iain. And also by his sister Agnes Forde in London, England and many nieces and nephews in Great Britain. Dad was born in Kinsale, Co Cork, Ireland one of 10 children. He joined the Royal Navy at age 15. He traveled the world and never lost his passion for travel and adventure. He met Mary Jackson in England in 1945 and settled there, where he became a à BobbyÄ until they moved with their 2 children to Canada in 1957. Dad always had a twinkle in his eye, and a great story to tell. Thanks to all our friends for their heartfelt thoughts and prayers. He will be truly missed. A memorial mass will be held to celebrate Dad's life on Monday October 1st, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 2725 Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver.May the road rise to meet youMay the wind be at your backMay the sun shine warm upon your faceThe rains fall soft upon your fieldsUntil we meet again-May God hold you in the palm of his hand
