BURBANK, Calif. -- Thomas “Tim” Foly Way III, 43, formerly of Buskirk, N.Y., peacefully passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004 at the City of Hope Hospital in Burbank surrounded by family and friends. He had fought a long, brave battle with leukemia.Born July 9, 1960 in Cambridge, he was the son of Charlotte Russell of Cambridge and Thomas F. Way Jr. of Pownal, Vt. After graduating from Cambridge Central School, Tim moved to California. He worked in several hospitals over the past 20 years. He enjoyed his work and was very devoted to it. He also enjoyed taking classes and furthering his education. Along with his mother and father, Tim is survived by his step-mother, Judy Way of Pownal; a sister and her husband, Vicky and Buddy Harrington of Cambridge; two brothers, Todd Way of Cambridge and Craig Way and his wife Tracey of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three step-sisters, Michele LaCroix of Franklyn, Mass., Dale Bouplin of North Bennington,Vt., and Kimberly Funk of Hoosick; two nieces, Stephanie and Sarina Way of Myrtle Beach; two nephews, Jered Harrington of Cambridge and Michael Way of Myrtle Beach; several aunts, uncles and cousins.Friends and relatives are invited to call on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Ackley & Ross Funeral Home, 73 West Main St., Cambridge. The Rev. Richard Gratz will conduct the funeral service at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.Burial will be at Millertown Cemetery in the spring.The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Mt.
