He was an operations manager for Florida Rock. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Gainesville, FL. He was a member of the Masons, and a Shriner. He enjoyed woodworking in his shop and enjoyed being with his family. He is survived by his daughters Charlene Engle, Williston, FL Catherine Miller Rader, Valdosta, GA, Brother David Woodward, Sister Katie Akins, Fayetteville, GA, 1 grandchild Tommy Dobbs. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2007 From 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Knauff Funeral Home -Williston. Services will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at Knauff Funeral Home Chapel - Williston - With Pastor Tony Clubb officiating. Interment to follow at Orange Hill Cemetery.
