Hull - Dr. Thomas Godwin Dickson, III, 74, of 1107 Lake Deerfield Dr., Hull, Ga. died Saturday, July 05, 2003 at Cobb Memorial Hospital in Royston, Ga.Dr. Dickson was born in Pahokee, FL., August 01, 1928, son of the late Thomas Godwin Dickson, Jr. and the late Bennie Elliott Dickson. He was a Retired Veterinarian and was involved with numerous poultry related organizations. Dr. Dickson was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was twice married, first to the late Jean Egger Dickson, second to Doris Young Dickson of Hull, Ga.Survivors include: wife, Doris Young Dickson, Hull; daughters, Cyndy Dickson Campbell, Clarkesville, and Kathy Dickson Cribb, Danielsville; grandchildren, Ashley Ray, Russell Dickson Drake and Thomas Campbell; great-granddaughter, Caitlyn Ray; sister, Marty Allen Thomas, Okeechobee, FL; and a brother, Charles Dickson, Meridian, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas 'Tommy' Godwin Dickson IV.Memorial services for Dr. Dickson will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 07, 2003 at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Father Porter Taylor and Mrs. Patsy Wroten officiating.
