Theresa R. Williams June 9, 1926 - December 22, 2008 JEWETT CITY - Theresa R. Williams, 82, of Slater Ave passed away Monday at the W.W. Backus Hospital. She was born June 9, 1926 in Norwich, CT daughter to the late Philias and Roseanna (LaBarre) Ducharme. On May 30, 1961 at St. Mary Church in Jewett City she was married to Chester Williams, he survives her. Theresa worked as a office clerk at Plastic Wire & Cable, Moskowitz Transportation, and Ashland Mills. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and Jacques Cartier Club ladies auxiliary. Besides her husband survivors include one son Wayne Williams and his girlfriend Renee Lacharite, a brother Harvey Ducharme, three nieces and one nephew. The funeral will assemble Saturday at 9:00AM at the Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Rd, Rte 138 Jewett City, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00AM at the St. Mary Church Jewett City. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Griswold. Calling hours are Friday 7 to 9 PM.
