THERESA L.PHILLIPS, 43Deli Department WAHNETA - Mrs. Theresa L. Phillips, age 43, passed away from cancer Monday, October 8, 2007 in Winter Haven. Born on August 4, 1964 in Albert Lea, Minnesota, Mrs. Phillips had been a resident of Wahneta for the past 23 years. Mrs. Phillips had worked in the deli department for both Publix and Walmart. Mrs. Phillips is preceded in death by her sister, Tonya Grove. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband of 22 years, R.L. Phillips of Wahneta, son, Andrew "A.J." Phillips, mother, Jane Rousey (Robert) of Lake Wales, father, Harold Grove, brother Todd Grove, both of Glennville, MN, mother-in-law, Delila Mercer (Frank) of Homeland, father-in-law Roy Phillips of Winter Haven, step siblings, Robin Brittle, Tina Hughes, and Robby Rousey. She also leaves behind three sister-in-laws: Selina Phillips, Renee Arlt, Deanna Mercer, brother-in-law, Gary Foust, and many other extended family members. Family will receive friends Thursday, October 11, 2007 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow. Services for Mrs. Phillips will follow Friday, October 12, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Condolences may be made at www.whiddenmcleanfuneralhome.com
