THELMA WILLIAMSIt is with great sadness that the family of Thelma Williams announces her sudden death on February 1, 2012 at the age of 67 years. Thelma was the beloved wife and soulmate to Duncan for 42 years, loving mother to Rachel and Simon and wonderful grandma to Logan, Liam, Emily, Connor and Brittney. She was loved by all of her family including daughter in law Cynthia, son in law Mark, siblings Edwin and Heather, numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends.Thelma will be remembered for her 15 years as a teacher at Lansdowne Nursery School where she touched many lives and her dedicated work as a leader in guiding for many years. She lived her life to the fullest and touched all those she met. She will be very much missed by all whose lives she affected so profoundly.Her family wish to thank all of the people at the Steadward Centre who impacted on her life, the breast cancer care staff and Dr Tom Maguire who supported her through her 33 year courageous fight with multiple sclerosis. A private family service will be held at Hainstock's Crematorium followed by an open house on February 12, 2012 between 1-5 p.m. at the family's home for those who wish to show support to her family.
