Thelma Hall Moore LEXINGTON- Funeral services for Thelma Hall Moore will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Northside West Baptist Church, formerly White Knoll Baptist Church at 742 Kitti Wake Drive, West Columbia, SC with burial to follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the church one hour before the service. The Rev. Eddie Baker will officiate. Thelma Moore, 96, died on Saturday, October 4, 2014 after a long illness. Born on January 29, 1918 in Lexington County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Andrew M. Hall and Lula Day Hall. Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughters, Tweedy Rauch (Gilbert) and Terry J. Moore, sons, Archie G. Moore, Jr. (Patti), Scotty Moore (Kathy), Randy Moore and her sister, Betty Jean Anderson (Henry). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Moore was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Archie G. Moore, Sr., her sisters, Ludell (Roscoe) Slice, Cleola (Buddy) Rose, Myrtle (Ray) Bregg, Freda (Roy) Amick, Mary Alice (Ernest) Lorick and brothers, Rudolph Hall, Lavern (Carolyn) Hall and Bernie "Bo" (Shirley) Hall. She was also predeceased by three infant grand daughters. Thelma loved her family and she loved the Lord. She was of strong Christian Faith and was a Baptist all her life. She was an active member for many years at Park Street Baptist Church and later a member of White Knoll Baptist Church where she was a founding member.
