Terry Gordon Williams, 47, of 120 W. Celestial Drive, went home to heaven Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.Terry was born in Charleston, S.C., and was the son of LaVerne Wilson and Martha Jordan Williams of Taylors.He was employed with AmeriPride Uniform Services and attended Springwell Church. Terry was an avid golfer and loved fishing and the outdoors. He also coached Greer Recreation-Coach's Pitch Fall Baseball.Surviving are his wife of the home, Rebecca Jones Williams; a daughter, Pressley Ann Williams, a son Jordan "JoJo" Webb Williams, both of the home; a sister and brother-in-law, Melanie and Danny Walker of Greenville; nieces, Morgan Walker, Katie Jones, Jasmine Jones; nephews, Willie Jones and Jacob Jones; mother-in-law, Pansy Jones; and two brothers-in-law, Bill Jones and Jeff Jones and his wife Julie.Terry was predeceased by his father-in-law, Clay Jones and grandparents, Woodrow and Essie Mae Williams.Funeral services will be today, Oct. 6, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, with burial to follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crestview Elementary PTA-Playground Fund, 509 American Legion Road, Greer, SC 29651.The family will be at the home of his parents, 2 Confederate Circle, Taylors.
