CALAIS – After a magical week of transitioning from this earth, Susan M. Russell gracefully moved into the next realm on the afternoon of Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at her home in Calais. Her family blessed her as she gently eased into a place of serenity, light, and love. An intimate family ceremony was held solstice night.She is survived by her husband Jack Russell, daughter Heather Rudin of Seattle, Wash., son Erik Rudin of Portland, Ore., sister Lindsay Middelton of Washington, D.C., brother Jeffrey Middelton of Seattle, Wash., and five grandsons.
