WRIGHT _ Shirley Jean November 2, 1929 - January 30, 2008 Shirley Wright, beloved wife of John R. Wright of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the age of 78 years. Shirley was born in Detroit, Michigan. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family. Shirley served with the Girl Guides of Canada Movement for over fifteen years, retiring as an area commissioner. Besides John, her loving husband of fifty-four years, Shirley is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Allen and Dorthy Wright, Ronald and Waldi Wright and Timothy Wright, all of Calgary; grandchildren, Gerald, James, Christopher, Jessica (Collin), Ronald Jr., Tristin and Angelica. She is also survived by her brothers, Raymond and Gordon; her sisters, Ethel, Ann and Winnifred as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Shirley was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur in WWII and Roy. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. A Private Family Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
