GILBART , Shirley Ruth Yates October 26, 1939 - June 16, 2009 With sadness, but fond memories, we announce the passing of our loving mother and grandmother, Shirley Ruth Gilbart on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the age of 69 years. Shirley was born in Calgary, Alberta in 1939, where she lived and raised her family for nearly sixty years. She then retired to Fort St. John, BC where she passed away peacefully. Shirley is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Dwayne Beer; her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Tara Gilbart; grandchildren, Shannon and Derek; sisters Carol White and Marion Schmidt; and by many life-long friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at the home of Wayne and Tara Gilbart (206 Autumn Circle S.E., Calgary, AB) on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Calgary Humane Society ( www.calgaryhumane.ca ).
