SANFORD - Shirley A. Davis, 71, of Sanford, the mother of Ormond Beach resident Greg Davis, died Wednesday at home. Mrs. Davis moved to this area in 1966 from Dayton, Ohio, her birthplace. She enjoyed reading, shopping, cooking and nursing. Additional survivors include a son, Johnnie Swigart, Maitland; four daughters, Lisa Sondheim-Green, Sanford, Lori Singleton, Winter Park, Pam Stern, Lake Mary and Shari Rike, West Carrollton, Ohio; a brother, James Walsh, Ocala; a sister, Carol Norman, Dayton; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
