Sandra Pauline Stalvey Ward Surfside Beach Sandra Pauline Stalvey Ward 70, wife of the late Jack C. Ward, Sr. died Monday, July 28, 2014 at National Health Care. Mrs. Ward was born on May 9, 1944 in Conway, a daughter of the late John Wilson and Dorothy Pauline Housand Stalvey. She lived her whole life on the Grand Strand. Mrs. Ward was a longtime member of Kingsway Pentecostal Church and had many accomplishments in her life but when asked about them she said those who knew her would know what she had done throughout her life and it didn't need to be spoken of because she didn't do it for recognition. She was a loving, kind and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend with a gentle and humble spirit who loved God and Jesus and whom was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Ward is preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers; 3 sisters and her husband. She is survived by her daughter, Deana Ward of Myrtle Beach, her stepson, Jack C. Ward, Jr. and his wife Theresa of Myrtle Beach; 2 grandchildren, Justin Michael Ward and Valarie Estelle Ward both of Myrtle Beach; and 1 great grandson, Landon Michael Ward of Myrtle Beach; 2 brothers, Bo Stalvey and his wife Bridget of Ocoee, FL and Earl Stalvey and his wife Ola Mae of Conway. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Kingsway Pentecostal Church in Myrtle Beach with Pastor Jason Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Ocean Woods Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
