Sandra Johnson Davis, a lifelong resident of Newark, N.J., made her transition on April 30, 2012. The celebration of her life will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Christian Love Baptist Church, 830 Lyons Ave., Irvington, N.J. Interment is in Heavenly Rest Memorial Park, East Hanover, N.J. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service. Arrangements are by the Whigham Funeral Home. Mrs. Davis was the beloved wife of Roy Lee Davis; devoted mother of DeLacy Davis (Brie), Andre' Davis (Jackie), Donna Bowers, Ranie Lassiter, Vanessa Knox and Bernette Davis; caring sister of Shelva Winters and the late Phillip Louis Johnson; precious grandmother of A-La Renee Davis, La Juan Henry, Karim Cockrell, Jarisa Brannon-Davis, Dominque Blanding, Troy Bowers, Troy and Maya Davis, Vernell Miller and Quorrell Miller; great-grandmother of De Lacy Ky-Mani Henry.
