Sandra GilbertJune 1, 1938 ~ February 24, 2013Sandra Kay Petersen Gilbert passed from this life due to a pulmonary embolism on February 24, 2013. She was greeted on the other side by her eternal companion, James Leon Gilbert; daughters Suzanne, Annette, and Jennifer; and her parents, Roger K and Edrie Petersen.She is survived by her daughter; Jill (Scott) Emett; son, James Andrew Gilbert; and 2 brothers, Bryce and Stephen Petersen. She leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a niece, Linda Packard, to whom she has been a caregiver for many years.She loved genealogy, movies, and diet coke. She will be remembered for her many family traditions, reunions and vacations.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Jenkins Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S.
