Ruth Banks Williams, 95, of Greenville, S.C., wife of the late J. Roy Williams, died Monday, January 5, 2009.Born in Troy, S.C., she was daughter of the late Walter Cleveland and Matilda Ann Baughman Banks.She and her husband were the owners of Williams Eggs Company for 42 years. She was a member of Leawood Baptist Church.She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Chandler; a son, Larry Williams and his wife Patricia; two daughters-in-law, Peggy Williams and Bea Williams; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Along with her husband, she is predeceased by two sons, Gary Williams and Harry Williams. Ruth was the last surviving member of her immediate family.Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 8, 2009, at noon in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11 to 12 p.m. at the funeral home.Woodlawn Funeral Home, Greenville, SC
