Ruth Ann Longley Saratoga Springs - Ruth Ann Longley of Wilshire Blvd., Saratoga Springs, died peacefully surrounded by her family on November 18, 2013 at her home, after a courageous battle with ALS. She was 72. Born on January 23, 1941 in Osceola, WI. she was the adopted daughter of the late John and Hetty Coombs. Mrs. Longley worked for many years in the retail industry with various employers and had relocated to Saratoga Springs to be closer to family in 2005. Ruth enjoyed raising her family in Marblehead, Ma, trips with family and friends, the “oldies” Elvis and Rod Stewart and the hustle and bustle of Northeast living. Survivors include two sons Randal Longley and his wife Jeanine of Porter Corners, NY and Mitchell Longley and his wife Margo of Royal Palm Beach, FL, two sisters, Mary Cafarelli of Sussex, NJ and Barbara Connors and her husband Robert of Malta, NY and four grandchildren; Cristina, Rebecca, Spencer and Sarah. Services are private and the burial will be at the Greenridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to : St. Peters ALS Regional Center, 19 Warehouse Row, Albany, NY 12205. Arrangements are under the direction of the Tunison Funeral Home 105 Lake Ave. Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Online remembrances can be made at www.tunisonfuneralhome.com
