Ruth L. ColburnWeymouth Ruth L. (Appleford) Colburn of North Weymouth formerly of Whitman died on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at the Harbor House Nursing Center in Hingham. She was 92 years of age. Born, raised and educated in Whitman she had lived in Weymouth for 70 years. Mrs. Colburn was a retired employee of Proctor & Gamble in Quincy where she had worked for many years. She was also an avid bingo player. Beloved wife of the late John C. Colburn. Devoted mother of Lorraine Colburn of Sanford, FL, Carole Cappello of No. Weymouth and the late John C. Colburn, Jr. Loving sister of Richard Appleford of FL and the late Gordon Tim Appleford. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
