DAVIS, Ruth Allen, 77, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away September 21, 2006. She retired as a statistician for the Department of Agriculture. She was a member of the Sun City Center United Methodist Church, Red Hat Society, North Carolina State University Alumni and a volunteer for the Sun City Center Emergency Squad. Survivors include her two daughters, June Davis and Kay Moore; a brother, Lawrence Allen and his wife, Dorothy; loving companion, Bernard Weinland and his four children, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, rOctober 1, 2006 at the Sun City Center United Methodist Church, 1210 Del Webb Blvd. West, Sun City Center, Fla. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be at Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, Ga. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sun City Center United Methodist Church or Sun City Center Emergency Squad, 101 Ray Watson Dr., Sun City Center, FL 33573.
