Ruby Viola, age 87, Lexington, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, at Spry Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will be at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Chuck Hood officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.Pallbearers will be Lucas Williams, Danny Porter, Corey Newton, Richard Warf, Jeff Gargis, Chad Tribble, Mark Hammond and Jimmy Britt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Myrtle Williams; brother, Royce Williams and wife, Alma; sisters, Pearl Truitt and husband, Doyce, and Sylvia Hall and husband, Malcolm.Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Fountain Hestel Williams, of Lexington; daughter, Barbara Rose Williams McConnell and husband, Harold, of Anderson; sons, Donald Keith Williams and wife, Sharon, of Lexington, and Ronald David Williams, of Lexington; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lexington Fire and Rescue Department, 11060 Hwy. 101, Lexington, AL 35648.
