She is preceded in death by her husband; Ben G. Gilbert, parents; Ben and Alice Waid, brothers; Alonzo Waid, Bruce Waid and sisters, Ariel Harrell and Merle Cox. She is survived by, her son; Roger L. Gilbert (Judy) and daughter Charlotte A. Langley (Terry) both of Oak Grove, AL. Five grandchildren; Chris Gilbert (Sheri), Cindy Blackwell, Donna Carr (Jake), Chuck Langley (Angela) and Robert Langley (Shellie). Ten great grandchildren. Ruby was the owner of G&S Realty Company, serving the Jefferson County area for many years. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Graveside service is at Forest Grove Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, AL. on Friday at 2:00 P.M. James Pilgrim of the West Concord Church of Christ presiding.
