CARRIGAN, Roseann "Rose" WelshBorn April 30, 1918 in Glasgow, Scotland, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in Campbell River, BC, Canada. A heart of gold stopped beating,Hard working hands at rest,God broke our hearts to prove to us,He only takes the best,The leaves and flowers may wither,The golden sun may set,But the hearts that love so dearly,Are the ones who won't forget.Predeceased by husband Bill, sadly missed and survived by children Rosemary (Paul), Margaret, Bridie (Ben), Gina (Pat), Bill (Linda), Alan (Irene), Joe, Margaret Rose (Len), 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, and McDuff. A celebration of Rose's life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 in the Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings St. Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose's memory may be made to a War Veteran's Charity or to The Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
