Roberta A. Cadieux MONSON - Roberta A. (Kovacik) Cadieux, 65, of Beebe Rd., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 31st, in the Wing Memorial Hospital, Palmer, after a long battle with cancer. She leaves her husband of 15 years, James H. Cadieux; a daughter, Christine Byrne and her husband Fred of Palmer; a brother, Raymond Kovacik of Rockville, CT; a sister Mary McLees of Miami Springs, FL; a granddaughter, Taylor Dupuis of Palmer; a grandson, William Gibb of Palmer; her mother-in-law, Barbara Moran of Monson; three sister-in-laws, Jacquie Metcalf of Holland, Joanne Hoffey of Martha's Vineyard, and Barbara Ann Cote of Monson; her former husband, Richard Puduski, Sr. of Brimfield; and several nieces and nephews. Her son, Richard E. Puduski, Jr., died in 2008. She was also predeceased by her sister, Carol Lynch. She was born in Stafford, CT the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Bernat) Kovacik. Roberta worked at Waldman Publishing before retiring several years ago. She previously worked at the Zero Corporation in Monson and Dan Wesson Arms in Palmer. Roberta was a devoted grandmother and put her family above all else. She was an avid supporter of her granddaughter Taylor's basketball playing, attending games despite her illness. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Nov. 9th, at 1:00pm in the Brimfield Cemetery, Wales Rd., Brimfield. There are no calling hours.
