WILLIAMS, Robert It is with sadness we announce that Bob passed away peacefully December 20, 2008 in Royal Jubilee Hospital. He was born March 25, 1919 in Akron, Ohio. Predeceased by his parents, William and Martha Williams; brother Lewis; sisters Uny and Thelma and infant daughter Diane. Bob is survived by his loving wife Helena of 67 years; daughters Sharon Dale (Bruce) of Powell River, Linda Patrick (Urbain) of Campbell River and Janice Porter (Gerry) of Victoria; son Gerry Williams of Cobble Hill; grandchildren Loretta Jamieson (Rod), Greg Dale, Carla Patrick, Christopher Patrick, James Porter and Michael Porter; and great-grandchildren Spencer and Natalie Jamieson and Jadyn PatrickCompston. Bob worked many years in the shipyards as a machinist, enjoyed singing with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society and ballroom dancing. There will be no service as requested. 518764
